1 Litre Colour Changing Deionisation Mixed Bed Resin
DI Mixed Bed Resin is used in refillable cartridges. Demineralisation Resins are used to reduce TDS levels (polishing the water).
The TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) levels from an reverse osmosis unit is not always as low as required so using DI resin will bring the TDS down to almost zero.
This DI Resin version contains colour indicators which changes as the resin becomes exhausted, these resins provide the best in water purification and filtration. It is recommended that the resin is replaced just before complete colour change to ensure continued polishing.
A High pH feed waters may interfere with the indicating dye contained in this resin, for this reason we recommend this filter to be used after a standard mixed bed DI filter for maximum results, if this filter is placed prior to a mixed bed DI filter the effectiveness will be reduced significantly.
