LED UV light for water purification can be the most eco-friendly way to treat water. It could be installed on water filtration, reverse osmosis or ice makers etc, With no mercury lamp saving money on replacement lamps and quartz sleeves.

UVC-LED water steriliser system has a robust design and small footprint UV LEDs will not require replacement for the entire life of the device (resulting in lamp replacement cost savings) and consume only a fraction of the energy (resulting in considerable energy cost savings).

In contrast of the conventional mercury UV lamps, UV LED has its advantages in light source, product volume, on/off speed as well as maintenance cost.

The UVC region of the UV spectral range refers to wavelengths between 100 nm to 280 nm. ln the case of disinfection, the optimum wavelength is in the region of 260 nm to 270 nm. UV LED for water disinfection is extremely effective against microorganisms but only if the UV light can penetrate, This means that the quality of your water is very important so we recommend at least 5 micron sediment filter prior to UV system.
