Ten litre of single bed Purolite cation resin, most commonly used after single bed anion resins to polish any remaining contaminants from the water. It contains positively charged ions and will change colour as the resin is depleted.
It is perfect as a single cartridge DI system that has an excess of positively charged ions such as magnesium and calcium usually found in hard water. This ion exchange effectively softens the water.
Cation resin with indicator, on exhaustion, color changes from neutral (regenerated form) to red (exhausted form).
Used in conjunction with a standard mixed bed deionisation filter system, these cartridges provide the best in water purification and filtration. It is recommended that the resin is replaced shortly before complete colour change to ensure contaminants do not bypass exhausted resin.
