John Guest plastic tubing is tested for suitability and made from non contaminating materials.

This JG Green 1/4 Inch Tubing is priced per meter, the quantity of metres added to cart at final checkout will be supplied in one length, you can add our RO Tube Cutter if you need shorter lengths for a neat straight cut.

Ideal for use in water purification, water conditioners, ice makers and misting systems, the LLDPE makes it more robust than traditional low or medium density polyethylene.

No tools, glue or heat is required with this simple and reliable tubing that is lead free and resistant to scale build up.

PNEUMATICS APPLICATIONS

John Guest LLDPE tube is suitable for pneumatic applications providing pressure is maximum 10 bar @ 20ºC (150psi @ 70ºF) At elevated temperatures(50ºC+) mineral oil will degrade LLDPE tube and, therefore, LLDPE tube used in pneumatic circuits should be periodically checked and replaced if necessary.

EXPOSURE TO ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT

Only black or blue tube should be installed in areas exposed to any light if biofilm growth is considered an issue. Black tube is also UV stabilised and can be installed where exposed to direct sunlight (UV). In this case other colours must be protected from exposure to light.

TUBE INSERTS

If the tube is used in a warm water system a tube insert is necessary.
