The HI-98319 Salinity Tester accurately measures the level of salt in reef and marine aquariums. This pocket-sized checker enables you to monitor salt levels within saltwater tanks, providing key information to take action and keep your water balanced. This salt tester also measures temperature, and includes solutions in the box for immediate digital salinity measurement with higher accuracy than refractometers.

Electronic salinity tester measures both high and low ranges of salinity in reef tanks and marine aquariums in parts per thousand (ppt), Practical Salinity Units (PSU), or Specific Gravity (SG).

Ideal for testing salinity in salt water aquariums, it is quick and easy to use and provides digital readout of both salinity and temperature.

Salinity results are displayed in either parts per thousand (ppt), Practical Salinity Units (PSU), or Specific Gravity (SG).

Our marine salinity tester is supplied complete with batteries and solutions allowing you to start measuring right away. Also displays temperature.

This pocket sized meter is waterproof and perfect for the measurement of salinity aquariums using conductivity to determine the salinity level of your water.

Salinity should be checked regularly in aquariums. As Oceans are very stable environments, where there is not a lot of day to day change in the water parameters, fish can respond negatively to even small changes in salinity.

The HI-98319 is supplied with 5.00 ppt salinity calibration standard, 20mL (2 pcs), 35.00 ppt salinity calibration standard, 20mL (2pcs), 3V Lithium battery – CR2032, storage/protection sleeve, instrument quality certificate, and instruction manual.
